SIMON YU possesses a diverse background in the real estate industry. While at Carlton Advisory Services, he was a part of deal teams that completed over $1 billion of debt and equity placements on real estate transactions including trophy property recapitalizations, condominium conversions and ground-up development. After relocating to San Francisco, he joined an international real estate firm that was part of the development team of an iconic building in the city's South of Market area. In addition, he has worked with real estate developers and investors to restructure problem commercial real estate loans and dispose of their non-performing assets as well as managing a multi-billion commercial real estate portfolio for a Fortune 500 bank.

He has a Master's degree in Real Estate Finance from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently resides in San Francisco with his wife and child.
